Join us for a wide range of fun-filled summer of activities, for children of all ages, at our Aneurin Leisure venues across Blaenau Gwent throughout the school holidays.
Libraries
Join the adventure at your local library and explore nature, meet magical creatures, and grow your love for books with our FREE Story Garden-themed activities for children this summer:
Join the Summer Reading Challenge to discover books, earn rewards, and explore the magic where stories and nature meet (for ages 4-11).
Get creative with our FREE weekly drop-in craft sessions for children of all ages.
Jump into a book and join our interactive Wiggly Words storytelling sessions (for ages 3-9).
Sports Centres
All of our sports centres have weekly Playschemes, Family Disability Swim Sessions and free swim sessions for under 16s throughout the summer holidays.
Abertillery sports centre will also have a Summer Football Camp and weekly Summer Holiday Fun Days.
Ebbw Vale sports centre will be hosting Dragons RFC Fit Fed Fun Camps, as well as their own Summer Football Camp and Junior Basketball sessions.
Tredegar sports centre will also be offering Pay and Play sessions on their 3G pitch for under 16s from 2pm – 6pm through the week (subject to availability) for £2 per person.

Parc Bryn Bach
Join us for a summer of scenic walks, interactive trails and exciting adventure activities at Parc Bryn Bach!
Take a walk or cycle around our lakeside path, which is also accessible for wheelchairs and push chairs, enjoying the scenery and immersing yourselves in nature.
Explore our FREE wildlife sculpture trail around the lakeside path, or try our our summer treasure trail (£1 per child) by following our clue sheet which is available at reception.
Have fun in our children’s play area, or challenge your friends and family to a game of mini golf!
Cave and Climb is available every day from 11am - 4pm. Scale our climbing wall and explore the cave, no booking necessary.
Hire a go-kart or mountain bike to explore our scenic lakeside path.
Enjoy a range of weekly adventure activities, including Archery Tag, Mountain Bike Taster Sessions, Activity Days and Climbing Club.

Bedwellty House & Park
Whether you’d like to get creative with some family-friendly crafts, explore the park on an exciting story trail or learn some madcap science this summer, we have something for everyone at Bedwellty House and Park!
Join us for an out-of-this-world day of fun at the FREE National Day for Play at Bedwellty Park (6 August).
Louby Lou Storytelling will be leading a series of wonderful story trails for children aged 3-8 every Tuesday.
Dive into a world of colour, creativity, and hands-on fun with our family-friendly Summer Craft Club every Wednesday.
Join experiMENTAL Science for their interactive science shows Crazy Chemistry (30 July) and Fantastic Physics (13 August).
Join us for a special afternoon of entertainment with with our fabulous princesses for Once Upon a Platter featuring Belle & Cinderella (11 August) and enjoy a range of activities.
