Discover more at our parks in Tredegar

We manage two stunning parks: Parc Bryn Bach and Bedwellty House and Park both of which offer the perfect destination for visitors of all ages.

In the 1980s an ambitious regeneration and development plan transformed a landscape devastated by mining activities into Parc Bryn Bach.

As a local nature reserve, set in 340 acres of stunning parkland with a 36-acre freshwater lake at its heart, Parc Bryn Bach offers visitors a variety of scenic walking, nature and cycle trails as well as a vibrant array of features including a nine-hole golf course and driving range, mini-golf, children’s play area and a sensory garden.  Our visitor centre offers eat-in and take-away food in addition to being a licensed restaurant.  Our caravan, camping and bunkhouse facilities offer the perfect base to enjoy the park at your leisure and to experience something new with a wide selection of adventure activities that take place at the park, and in the surrounding area.

Developed from humble beginnings in the earliest years of the 19th Century, Bedwellty House and Park is a historical Grade II listed building set in glorious grounds that has stood witness to many historic landmarks, including the rise and fall of the iron industry and the birth of the NHS.

Full of classical warmth and elegance, Bedwellty House is the perfect choice of venue for a range of events and activities.  Whether you’re looking for a grand setting for your wedding, a venue to host a corporate event, a spot of lunch or indulgent afternoon tea or even some fun seasonal activities to keep you and your family busy – you can find it all at Bewellty House and Park.
