Your Local Nature Reserve is Blooming!

As Nature Week continues, the flora at Parc Bryn Bach is stunning.

As you wander around the park, you’ll see a glorious array of wildflowers; Knapweed with its beautiful pinks and purples is in bloom, Oxeye Daisies are swaying in the breeze and Meadowsweet is in abundance!

We have improved our Wildflower Trail, so don’t forget to check out the new sculptures along the trail.  On each of the wooden sculptures you’ll find QR codes – simply scan these and Blodwyn the Butterfly will tell you all out the flowers you’ll find, and how they help the insects and wildlife at the park, in a series of family-friendly videos.

The ducks and geese can be found around the lake enjoying the cool water.  Our Sculpture Trail provides an engaging overview of the fauna in the park, with Dylan the Duck narrating and introducing his wildlife friends that inhabit Parc Bryn Bach.

Improvements to the wildflower trail have been possible with funding the National Lottery, helping us to us to continue to improve the facilities of the park and will help raise awareness of the importance of biodiversity within this valuable local nature reserve.

The Wildflower Trail Starts Here!

QR Codes will tell you all about the flora along the trail.
